Nelline was born Sept. 15, 1921 to Ernest and Golda Patterson, in Mount Pleasant, Texas and was the oldest of six girls. She married Eugene Moore and moved to Bakersfield in the late 1930's. After Eugene's death, in World War II, she married, Robert Leslie Coward, February 1948. After his death, Nov. 16, 1989, she married Lawrence Kellar on June 27,1993 until his death Nov. 15, 1994. She lived her life in Texas, California and Oregon.
Nelline was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Golda Patterson; husbands, Eugene Moore, Robert Coward and Larry Kellar; daughter, Sondra Baldwin; sons, Billy Moore and Miles Moore; and sisters, Ernestine, Pearl, Faye, Margie and Mattie.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Allen and Sandi Coward; son, Steve Coward; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Bruce; and daughters-in-law, Gayle and Jane.
Graveside services and interment to be at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point, Ore. on Wednesday Sept. 16, 2009, 1:00 p.m.
