Patricia Jean Piazza

Patricia Jean Piazza, 83, of Jacksonville, Ore., passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Rogue Valley Medical Center. She was born in Osseo, Minn., on February 17, 1927, to Tillman and Irene Ogdahl.
She graduated from Franklin High School in 1945. Patricia married Anthony Piazza and moved to the Rogue Valley in 1955, first to Medford and then to Jacksonville in 1972. Patricia enjoyed bowling, gardening and playing bridge. She belonged to Roosevelt PTA, Jacksonville Garden Club and worked with SMART Reader program.
Patricia is survived by sons, Eugene J. and Stephen J. Piazza; and daughter, Nancy J. Cobb; and their families; brother, Dave Ogdahl; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by husband, Anthony; two sisters, Phyllis Romig and Syvia Zwick; two brothers, Ted and Wally Ogdahl; and granddaughter, Molly Piazza.
A memorial mass will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010, at Jacksonville Catholic Church with Father Reniva, of Sacred Heart officating. Memorial contributions to be made to Jacksonville Garden Club. Arrangements are by Memory Gardens Mortuary, 541-773-7338.
