Pearl E. Brown passed away October 22, 2013. She was born December 19, 1910, the last of three children, to Julius H. and Eva J. Orlick of St. Joseph, Mo.
She was married in 1929 to Melvin H. Ward. They moved to Medford, Ore. when he passed away in 1982. They had five daughters, Carole (Ned) Plowman of Portland, Ore, Doris (Charles) Anderson of Marysville, Ohio, Virginia (Paul) Lindahl of Wichita, Kans., Pat (Arden) Hildebrand of Medford, Ore. and Janet (Jerry) Moore of Medford, Ore. She later married Carroll E. Brown, no deceased. He had two children, Larry (Jan) Brown of LIvermore, Calif. and Bobbie (Bob) Guyll of Bellevue, Wash.
Pearl worked as an administrative assistant in timber management for the U.S Forest Service in Portland, Ore. before retiring after 13 years of service.
