Richard D. Saltmarsh, lovingly known as Rick, passed away due to a heart attack at his home in Cave Junction, Oregon, on June 14, 2024.
Rick is survived by his sisters, Shawnee Saltmarsh and Shannon Priddle; his son, Richard A. Saltmarsh; and his grandchildren, Shilo, Cyrion, and Archer Saltmarsh. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Stout.
Rick found joy in camping, fishing, engaging in political discussions, and pursuing various projects he would never finish. He was admired for his patience and kindness, qualities that endeared him to everyone he met.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Rick's life and legacy.
Rick's presence and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
