Richard Charles Tippins, 52 of Shady Cove, Oregon passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011 at his home. He was born in Los Angeles, California to Wallace and Bobbie (Jett) Tippins on March 3, 1959.
Richard went to 3 years of college and then joined the U.S. Navy. He moved to the Rogue Valley 4 years ago and worked as a commercial painter. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hiking and camping.
He is survived by his brothers & sisters: Jo Jett of Whitter, CA; John Tippins, of Las Vegas, NV; Jett Williams of Nashville, TN; Melissa Ross of Longpoc, CA and Linda Beckman of Bakersfield, CA.
The family has asked that all memorial contributions go to SORCC in Rick's name. VA Southern Oregon Rehabilation Center & Clinic #135, 8495 Crater Lake Highway, White City, Oregon 97503, please write "general fund" on contribution.
