Ronna Louise Davis departed this world to be with her precious Lord Jesus in Heaven on October 23rd, 2024. She was 78 years old.
Ronna was born to Lois Grace and Ronald Stein Olfson on January 13th, 1946 in Longview, Washington. As a young girl, Ronna loved to play in the filbert orchards around her home and spend time with her father at his general hardware store.
Ronna met her husband, Jim Davis, on a blind date in 1964. They were soon married on September 19 and went on to have three children. She lived all her 60 years of married life in the beautiful and quiet valleys of Wimer, Oregon
Ronna was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and wife, and a good friend to many. She endeared herself to everyone with her servant's heart, quirky humor and many talents. She was a poet, an athlete, a musician, a woodworker, a teacher, a Bible student, an artist, a plumber, a physical therapist, a camp cook, a baker, and an evangelist.
Ronna held an unwavering faith in God and trusted in Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was a devoted member of Evans Valley Bible Church where she faithfully served the congregation with her musical talent, baking skills and generous hospitality. Ronna was also an active participant of Child Evangelism Fellowship as a teacher and helper for over 50 years.
Ronna is survived by her husband, Jim, her three children; Laura Loop, Beckie Bradley and Ron Davis, her two sisters: Lois Barnett and Nancy Lefler, her 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled to honor Ronna on December 7th at 2 pm at the Rogue River Assembly of God, located at 270 W. Evans Creek Road in Rogue River, Oregon.
