Ruby 'Doris' Doris Barnard

Ruby Doris Barnard was born June 6, 1917 in Shawnee, OK and passed June 29, 2015. Her parents Charles Howe and Rebecca Littleton preceded her. Doris came to the Rogue Valley in 1945. She had been a beautician since her teenage years . In 1937 in L.A., CA she married Orval Ray Barnard who preceded her in 1991. For many years Doris was active in the Home Extension program and enjoyed sewing. She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Central Point.

Survivors include five children; two sons Daymon(Marci) Barnard of Ashland and Robert(Nancy) Barnard of Central Point, three daughters Brenda Sanderson of Portland, Roberta(Ron) Martinson of Shady Cove and Teresa(Bruce) Spain of Central Point, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Memory Gardens Chapel. She will be laid to rest beside Orval in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
