Rusty R. Mittleider, 56, of Medford, Ore., was involved in a motorcycle accident that claimed his life on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. He was a great husband, a loving father, as well as a very good and generous friend to many people in the community.
Rusty was born the son of Elmer and Lenora Mittleider on December 11, 1953, in the city of Walla Walla, Wash.
Rusty was employed by Asante Health Systems and worked at the Rogue Valley Medical Center for over 30 years as a biomedical technician. Rusty enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going fishing, spending time with friends and family, and remained active in the church.
Survivors include wife, Chaddie K.M. Mittleider; son, Jesse Mittleider; daughter, Tina Mittleider Hoff; son-in-law, Matthew Hoff; grandson, Tristen Mittleider; brother, Lynden Mittleider; and sister, Kathy Turner.
A memorial service for Rusty will be held at 4:30 p.m., on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the Valley View Seventh-day Adventist Church in Medford, Ore. Memorial contributions can be made on his behalf to Rogue Valley Junior Academy. There will also be a memorial Service at Rogue Valley Medical Center, time to be announced.
