Ruth A. Davis

Ruth Arlene Davis, 82, passed thru the veil on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in Medford, Ore. Ruth was born on March 6, 1927 in Des Moines, Iowa to Ray and Esther Davis (Darlow). She was married to Lynn E. Davis on Feb. 9, 1951 and they later divorced. Ruth worked the PBX switchboard in Long Beach, CA for many years before moving to Oregon in 1965. She then went to work for Harry and David's which she enjoyed. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Eagles Lodge of Medford. Garage sales were a favorite past time. Ruth is survived by, her daughters, Linda Morris, of Albany, Ore. and Laura Garn, of Redding, Calif.; son, Chris E. Davis, of Sacramento, Calif.; her sister, Dorothy Bahanna, of Applegate, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 12:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2009 and a funeral service with dedication of the grave will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2009 at Memory Gardens Mortuary and Memorial Park.
