Sheri Rae Godden

Sheri Rae Godden, 41, beloved wife of Garry Godden, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, their 23rd wedding anniversary. Together they experienced the changing scenes of life in happiness and perfect companionship, which the Lord had bestowed upon them. High school sweethearts and soul mates, they married shortly after graduating from Eagle Point High School. Their union was blessed with two daughters, Kacey 18, and Jessie 16. The sincere and dedicated love she had for her daughters and Garry was like no other. Sheri is survived by her spouse; children; brothers Tony and Michael, mother Cees Vargas of Medford, father Melvin Vargas of Eagle Point, mother and father-in-law Gloria and JW Gardner of Central Point. Sheri went peacefully to be with the Lord and would have us remember one thing: know Him, live, walk, trust and rest in Him. She lived a life wrapped in the love of Jesus surrounded by her faithful loving family and friends. Sheri was a woman of conviction, compassion, principle and strong faith who will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. A special memorial service of love and sharing by family members will be 11:00 AM Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 at the Trail Christian Fellowship, 18881 Hwy 62, Shady Cove, OR 541-878-3501.
