Shirley M. Renfro (Tant)

We celebrate the life of our mother Shirley M. Renfro, 86, of Central Point, OR who passed Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her home. She was born July 27, 1930 in Pacoima, CA to Kirby & Lola (Wylie) Tant. She married Roy Renfro Aug. 5, 1946, who preceded her. Shirley was a stay at home mom who gave support and advice to her family and friends who remained in touch throughout her life. She loved her family, birds, flowers, crocheting and baseball.She leaves behind her children Linda(Ron) Hendrix, Kirby(Karen) Renfro, Rolly(Linda) Renfro and Marie Chubb, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 1 great great step grandchild. In addition to Roy, Shirley is preceded by her parents, sister Margie Walch, Carrie Whitehead and son in law Jim Chubb. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to The Crater Foundation, 300 Ash St, Central Point, OR 97502.Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Memory Gardens Chapel. She will be laid to rest beside Roy in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Condolences and remembrances may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
