Shirley Ann Setzler

Shirely Ann Setzler, age 81, passed Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018. She was born Dec. 19, 1936 in Medford, OR to parents Milton & Neva Riggs. She grew up in Medford, OR and graduated from Medford high school in 1955. In 1956 she married her childhood sweetheart Edmund R. Setzler. They had two children; Rich Setzler and Linda Johnson. Shirley worked a short time as an operator for the telephone company in Medford. Shirley enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening and RV'ing during the winter months in Phoenix, AZ.  She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Shirley was a long time member of the Rogue Valley Country Club and was heavily involved in the Miss Rogue Valley Scholarship program in the 1970's. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Setzler, her brother Rich Riggs and parents Milton & Neva Riggs. She is survived by her son Rich Setzler(Eugene, OR), daughter Linda Johnson(Medford, OR), brother Darrell Riggs(L.A., CA), five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
