Susan Kay Hanson, 67, of Medford, Ore. passed Thursday, June 13, 2013 at her home. She was born March 26, 1946 in Portland, Ore. to Richard A. Hanson and Blanche LaRoche.
Susan had worked at JC Penney for a time, then later a drove school bus for 35 years with the last 15 being for special-needs children which she especially enjoyed. She was instrumental in uniting the bus drivers into the Teamsters union. Her hobby was reading.
She will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Memorial Park with her son, Christopher Hauptkin, who preceded her in death. Memory Gardens Memorial Park and Mortuary in care of arrangements.
