Susan D. Havener passed away at her home on Monday, May 4, 2009 from complications of Scleroderma Disease.
She was born Sept. 22, 1943 in Van Nuys, CA. to Dale & Ella Mae(Nease) Henry. Susan graduated from Cajon HS in San Bernardino, CA. and moved to Oregon in 1976. She worked for Harry & David Corp. until her retirement.
Susan is survived by her life companion and soul mate James Eggleston of Medford, OR., three sons and their wives Jeffrey & Kim Havener of Central Point, OR., Kevin & Stephanie Havener of Sterling, VA., and Greg & Brandis Havener of Medford, OR., a step daughter Jenny Eggleston of Tucson, AZ., a brother Richard Henry of Santa Barbara, CA., a sister Suzie Soristo of San Bernardino, CA., eight grandchildren, two cousins and several nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death. Susan was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She had a great sense of humor, loved to garden and had a flair for decorating. After retirement Susan and Jim enjoyed traveling and sailing and spending time at their vacation home in Mexico. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Medford, OR.
A reception will follow at Susan and Jim's home.
