Vera Jeanne Rodman

Vera Jeanne Rodman, 85, of Medford, OR. died Saturday, Mar. 8, 2008. Vera was born and raised in the Plainfield, WI. area until the time of her marriage to Dennis Rodman. They lived in Rhinelander where they raised their children. Do to lack of work in Rhinelander Dennis moved the family to Grand Jct, CO. in 1959 and on to Medford, OR. in 1961. Vera was a wife, mother and homemaker all her life. She loved music, art, sewing, gardening and reading her bible. She is survived by four children; a son Enoch Rodman of Central Point, OR. three daughters Sharon Abshire of Talent, OR., Helen Rodman of Glendale, AZ., and Diane Thomson of Medford, OR. Four sisters; Edith Town and Harriett Nylund both of Rhinelander,WI., Doris Johnson of Scofield, WI., and Carie Schroeder of Plainfield, WI. 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and one Great, Great Grandchild. She was preceded by her parents, husband and one grandson. The funeral service will be 10:00AM Thursday, Mar. 13, 2008 at Memory-Gardens Chapel in Medford. Interment will follow at Memory-Gardens Memorial Park.
