Violet M. Thomas

Violet Mildred Thomas, 88, of Phoenix, OR. passed Friday, Jan. 8, 2010 at her home. Violet was a lifetime Medford resident born here on Jan. 31, 1921 to Harry Lloyd & Devina Rachel Nancy(Chastain) Mills. She graduated Medford High School in 1939 and later that year married George Albert Thomas who preceded in 2005. They enjoyed RVing, traveling to Georges different job sites, CB radio clubs and were Good Sam Club members. They have two children; a son James L. Thomas of Eugene, OR., and a daughter Janet L. Miller of Central Point, OR. three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, husband George, two sisters; Geneva Cearley and Evelyn Davis, a grand daughter Kathy Ann Thomas. Violet will be laid to rest next to George at Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Medford, OR.
