Virginia Aliene Wharton (Manus)

Virginia A. Wharton peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Medford, Oregon. Born to Joe & Evelyn Manus on August 7, 1924, Ginny moved to Jackson County at around the age of 6 and lived the rest of her life here. She graduated from Medford High School in 1943. Before she retired she was a private caregiver. She loved cats and dogs, helping others and her family. She also made the best angel food cake you ever tasted. She is survived by her son Dave Wharton (Medford) and her daughter Donna Saddler(Central Point), her grandsons Steve Saddler (Santa Rosa, CA), Matt Saddler (Eagle Point), 3 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter. A brief memorial graveside service will be held at the Memory Gardens Memorial Park on Saturday, March 16th at 2:00 PM.
