Warren Lloyd Hanlin

November 21, 1928 — August 12, 2014

Warren Lloyd Hanlin passed away unexpectedly August 12, 2014 at Rogue Regional Medical Center. He was born November 21, 1928 in Klamath Falls, Ore. He moved with his family to Medford Ore. in 1929.

As a young man at the age of 17, with the written permission of his parents, Warren proudly served in the United States Navy for 3 years. Warren worked in retail as the manager of Robinson Brothers in downtown Medford prior to opening his own cleaning and restoration service known as Randy's Beehive. He was a member of several service organizations including the Medford Elks Lodge and Shriners. He attended the Methodist Church.

He was unfortunately diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2009. The last several years he lived at Magel's Adult Foster Care home where he was lovingly cared for by the staff. Prior to that, Lori and Don Emery took care of him in their home. The family would like to thank all of his caregivers for loving and taking such good care of him. You became like family to him.

Warren enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time at his cabin at Klamath Lake. Later in life, he enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises with his wife Faye, sister, and brother-in-law.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Georgia Hanlin; brother, Don Hanlin; son, Robert Hanlin, as well as by two wives. He is survived by his brother, Robert; sister, Pauli; six children, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 29th at Memory Gardens Memorial Park located at 1395 Arnold Lane in Medford OR, 97501.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association @ alz.org
