Wayne was born February 28, 1944, to Roy I. and Anne C. (Felber) Robins in Salt Lake City, Utah. He spent time growing up in Idaho and moved to Grants Pass, Ore., in grade school. He was the brother to Yvonne Roe, Warren Robins and Rita McCloud.
He graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1962. He served in the Army from 1964 to 1966, while serving his country in the Vietnam War. Wayne was a great outdoorsman. Helped build the trail along the Rogue River from Graves Creek to Agness, Oregon. His favorite flower was a Zinna. He owned a hydraulic jack and welding equipment repair business, House of Jacks/Farwest Jacks and Equipment. He was a log scaler and later, a long-haul truck driver for Gordon Trucking.
He married his kindred spirit, Linda Diane Kienstra, on November 13, 1982. He is survived by his wife and children, Marc (Misty) Wells, Christopher (Shelly) Wells, Sarah (Michael) Sokiveta; Virginia (Justin) Estremado and Cassie (Derrick Rokes) Robins. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
