William Ray Arnold

William (Bill) Ray Arnold, age 88 years,  of Medford, Oregon passed away on January 7, 2019 at Asante Medical Center.  Bill was born on March 12, 1930 in Medford, Oregon to Jake and Ruby Arnold.  He was a life-long resident of the Rogue Valley.  Bill is survived by his wife Velma.  They were married on November 10, 1988 in Reno, Nevada. They enjoyed many years together at their cabin at Lake of the Woods, travelling and taking cruises.  Bill was a graduate of Medford High School Class of 1948 and they enjoyed attending Medford Football games. Bill skillfully managed orchards over a 40-year period for Naumes, Inc. and Reter Fruit Company.  He studied at The University of Oregon and was an avid Oregon Duck fan! Bill is survived by his children:  Stephen Arnold (Janet) of Pocatello, Idaho, Scott Arnold of Sacramento, California, Jennifer Bolf of Ashland, Oregon, and Susan Jarrell (Robert) of Marietta, Georgia.  He is also survived by his younger sister, Delores Janes (Tommy) of Wilsonville, Oregon.  Bill and Velma have eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents Jake and Ruby Arnold, his sisters Helen Edwards Swartz Aasen and Luella Richter, and daughters Darla Arnold and Linda Arnold.
